Music written & produced by Andrew Callaghan for the television commercial "Ballet Dancer" for R+V Insurance in Germany. This ad music was nominated for best music at the MADCs and won and award for Original Music for Craft in Television & Cinema at Award. The advertisement tells the story of Laszlo, a passionate but not-terribly-successful ballet dancer. It was important to convey some of the emotion of his setbacks without letting the whole story feel too sad - after all, in the end, he's had a great life. The soundtrack for this TVC swings between a classical waltz & some cheesy 80s pop.
